If payment, delivery, refund, tax, payout, subscription, advertising, or paid features are added or supported through third-party providers or manual workflows, we may collect or receive information needed to operate those features, resolve disputes, comply with law, prevent fraud, and keep records.

3. Analytics, Advertising Measurement, and Tracking Choices
The Services may use analytics, advertising measurement, notification, crash, hosting, cloud, and software development kit providers. Current or planned service providers may include Meta/Facebook App Events, Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple, Google, hosting and storage providers, and other service providers that help us operate, measure, secure, or improve the Services.
Current or planned app-event measurement may include automatically logged Meta/Facebook App Events and custom product-market-fit events such as app launch or activation, signup submitted, login success, product view, listing creation, cart activity, and order-intent started. These events are used for measurement, product improvement, campaign analysis, and safety or operations context. An event does not necessarily mean a completed purchase, verified seller, completed order, or guaranteed marketplace transaction.
On iOS, where Apple App Tracking Transparency applies, Fouta App requests tracking permission before enabling advertiser tracking where required. You can change tracking permission in your device settings. On Android, advertising identifiers or app set identifiers may be handled as permitted by Google Play policies and device settings. We use these tools to understand app activity, measure campaigns, improve the product, and protect the Services. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Some analytics or advertising measurement may involve sharing app event, device, usage, or identifier information with service providers. Fouta App is responsible for keeping App Store privacy details, Google Play Data Safety disclosures, and this Privacy Policy consistent with actual app behavior.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
-
With other users: Your profile, posts, stories, listings, comments, reviews, messages, seller/shop information, and other user content may be visible to other users depending on the feature and your settings.
-
With buyers, sellers, stores, or delivery participants: We may share information needed to ask questions, coordinate order intent, confirm availability, support fulfillment, handle disputes, or protect marketplace trust.
-
With service providers: We may share information with hosting, cloud, storage, analytics, advertising measurement, notification, security, customer support, payment, delivery, or other service providers who help us operate the Services.
-
For safety and moderation: We may review and share information internally or with service providers to investigate reports, blocks, abuse, fraud, spam, unsafe content, policy violations, disputes, seller trust issues, or security incidents.
-
For legal reasons: We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, government requests, App Store or Play Store requirements, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, sellers, Fouta App, or the public.
-
Business transfers: If Fouta App is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
5. User-Generated Content and Public Visibility
Content you post, list, send, or share through the Services may be visible to other users or to the public depending on the feature. Marketplace listings, seller profiles, shop information, reviews, social posts, stories, comments, and profile information may be visible to others. Messages may be visible to conversation participants and may be reviewed by Fouta App when needed for safety, support, dispute resolution, policy enforcement, or legal reasons.
Please do not post private information, confidential information, sensitive personal information, or content you do not have permission to share.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or deactivation of certain account information by using available app tools or contacting us.
When push notifications are enabled or requested, Fouta App may receive APNs or FCM notification tokens and sync notification tokens to backend account or profile systems so messages, badge counts, marketplace updates, safety notices, and account notifications can be delivered.
Some features may not work if you decline or disable a permission.
7. Account Deletion and Retention
You may request account deletion through available in-app tools or by contacting us at admin@fouta-app.com. When we delete an account based on a valid request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account unless we need to retain information for legal, safety, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, backup, business record, App Store/Play Store compliance, or legitimate operational reasons.
Some content may remain visible or retained if it has been shared with others, copied by others, included in a transaction, retained in backups, needed for moderation or dispute records, or required by law. We may retain report, block, abuse, seller trust, order, transaction, and security records for a reasonable period to protect users and the marketplace.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect information. These may include secure transmission, authentication, secure token storage, access controls, logging, and service provider safeguards. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.
